Meet Ainslie Henderson, Sales Manager at Caledonia Property Paisley
This week we are introducing Ainslie Henderson, Sales Manager at Caledonia Property Paisley. She has just celebrated a number of years with us, we’ll let her tell you how many, and has worked within the property industry in the West of Scotland for the last 20 years.
Q.: How long have you been with Caledonia Property?
A.: I have just celebrated two years since I joined Caledonia Paisley this month.
Q.: What does a regular day look like for you?
A.: My job is very people oriented – most of my time at work is spent speaking to clients and encouraging them to view potentially their new forever home. Contacting solicitors to assure my sellers that their sales are proceeding in a timely fashion and are on track for completion, contacting new enquiries and cross selling their enquiry with what other property I have available. Advising registered applicants of properties ‘coming soon’ to the market and gathering details for a viewing waiting list. Advising and recommending marketing plans to existing sellers and also to new enquirers with homes to sell. Updating online adverts and making sure they have the best exposure on all online portals. Raising awareness of the local Paisley branch with social media, local radio advertising, arranging local press advertising.
Q.: Could you describe a recent success at work?
A.: Reaching double figures for new home reservations at George Street, Paisley, a refurbished historic B listed building consisting of 20 new build flats. The build has been ongoing for the last few years with the first buyers moving in just last week.
Q.: Is there something you wished your clients knew about Caledonia Property?
A.: As we are heading into Christmas mood, home owners forget about their property goals, but in truth it really pays to gear up for an early 2019 property sale well in advance, Nowadays, property portals see plenty of activity from keen buyers between Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. So get in touch with us as soon as possible if you are thinking of making a move in 2019!
Equally important, people should know we are a local High Street office with local, knowledgeable staff on the area, and over 50 years’ combined experience selling property in the Renfrewshire/Glasgow area.
Q.: How do you relax after work?
A.: Recently we welcomed a new member to our family – a tiny chihuahua called Minnie, so I spend a lot of time with cuddles at the moment, but generally a quick trip to the local gym then home to my family is my idea of relaxation.
Q.: For you home is…
A.: Sitting down to relax with a Diet Coke and engrossing myself in a box set.
