Meet Emma Boyle, Sales Manager at Caledonia Clydebank
We are immensely proud of the fact we are an estate agent with a local presence, hiring local people. It is even more rewarding to see our staff develop and grow over the years, and that is the case of Emma, who has been part of the Caledonia team for many years. We asked Emma a few questions – this is what she said:
Q.: How long have you been with Caledonia Property?
A.: I started working with Caledonia 17 years ago as an office junior on a training programme. I am currently the Sales Manager in our busy Clydebank office.
Q.: What does a regular day look like for you?
A.: To start off the day I respond to any urgent calls or e-mails and then follow on with a brief staff meeting on where we are and planning the day ahead as well as the daily running of the office. Our objective is to provide the highest standards of customer care and satisfaction whilst maintaining integrity and professionalism from instruction through to sale or let so my day is spent making sure we give our outmost attention to each and every client and enquiry.
Q.: Could you describe a recent success at work?
A.: I am extremely proud to be a part of Caledonia Bureau and have progressed over the years from an office junior to sales & lettings negotiator and have now been sales manager for a number of years. I take pride in what we do and it is always rewarding to see clients returning time and time again. The most valuable assets of Caledonia Bureau are however their people, and everyone within the company shares the vision, professional approach and dedication to their respective roles ensuring a smooth and hassle free process for all clients whether it be purchaser, sellers, landlords or tenants.
Q.: Is there something you wished your clients knew about Caledonia Property?
A.: We have had many closing date success stories resulting in record prices being achieved for the Clydebank area. We are a friendly, experienced and local estate agent and always happy to assist. We charge no upfront fees and operate a no sale no fee model, which motivates us to provide the best possible service.
Q.: What are the up and coming property hotspots in Clydebank area?
A.: These are really exciting times for the local area, as over the next 7-12 years Clydebank will see a huge regeneration project which will be fantastic for Clydebank and surrounding areas.
Queens Quay (98.84 acres) is one of the most significant regeneration projects in west-central Scotland. It is the already the location for the Clydebank campus of West College Scotland and the new Clydebank Leisure Centre together with offices for West Dunbartonshire Council at Aurora House and other office users at the Titan Enterprise Centre.
A masterplan has been produced for the rest of the site which identifies space for a new 80 bed care home, the relocation of Clydebank Health Centre, 1,029 residential, new civic space and a liner park with walking and cycling routes, to be implemented over the next 7 to 12 years.
We expect as a consequence to see the properties in the area become an even more interesting investment for potential buyers and further property price growth.
Q.: How do you relax after work?
A.: I like to relax by spending time with my family and socialising with friends.
Q.: For you home is…
A.: I live with my husband and 2 kids and for myself Home is where my family is.
